DGM recently completed a production test featuring the DGM TECHNOFOLD folder gluer running 4-corner boxes, seamlessly integrated with the COLT turning strapper. The test was conducted under real production conditions, reflecting typical requirements from packaging converters.
In previous demonstrations, DGM showcased TECHNOFOLD producing 6-corner boxes in combination with the COLT system. This latest test highlights the flexibility of the TECHNOFOLD platform, showing how the same configuration can efficiently handle different box styles to support daily packaging operations.
The DGM TECHNOFOLD folder gluer is designed for stable and efficient processing of both folding carton and corrugated box applications. With a maximum mechanical speed of up to 300 m/min, the machine supports consistent output while maintaining reliable folding and gluing performance across a wide range of packaging formats.
In this setup, TECHNOFOLD is connected to the COLT turning strapper, which enables automatic batch counting, turning, stacking, and strapping. This integrated solution helps optimize the downstream process, improves workflow continuity, and reduces manual handling in the packing stage.
