DGM recently completed a successful factory production test of the SmartVision 650 PC folder gluer equipped with an integrated Braille inspection section, demonstrating reliable online inspection performance for pharmaceutical folding carton applications.
The SmartVision 650 PC is designed as an industrial folder gluer with online inspection, combining stable carton transport, precise folding control, and intelligent quality monitoring. During the test, the machine operated with the inspection system activated at speeds of up to 300 m/min, supporting continuous production while maintaining accurate defect detection.
The inspection system is configured with three standard inspection cameras, covering critical carton surfaces to detect print defects, registration deviations, and surface irregularities. In addition, an optional monochrome rear inspection camera is installed specifically for Braille inspection, enabling the detection of missing Braille dots, incorrect embossing, and Braille misprints. This configuration supports one-pass forming and inspection, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical packaging requirements.
